Hi all,

I know Falken 419's used to come highly recommended on BMWs as an alternate to the run flats, in terms of both budget and performance plus with the better ride by ditching the run-flats...

Is this still the case? Or is there another recommended non Run Flat tyre for BMW e9x's? I've a M-Sport, so 18" wheels if that makes a difference to suitability.

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks all, so it really is just go for a decent tyre...

...The falkens used to get a rave review on BMW land, but sounds like they're not too tyre sensitive, as I know some cars just don't like some brands!

Quick bump, just had 4 UniRoyal RainSport 3's fitted, and the difference in ride is immediately apparent!

So, all in all, well worth the swap. Now, to Ultraseal or not!?

£70 all round meet the bloke on a services 10 minute job ,what is there not to like?
I guess the feeling that it's just snake oil! Say that you get a nail in the tyre, do you just pull it out and carry on?
