After previous post and a lot of thinking, I finally bit the bullet and ordered my new car.

I've gone for a 335d touring with
M Sport Plus pack,
adaptive LEDs,
HUD
Pearlescent tanzanite blue
elec, heated seats
few other bits.

Moving up from a 320d touring and looking forward to the extra BHP, 4WD.
Also, decided on the 3-touring vs 4GC as I think I prefer the look and practicality of the touring (and there isn't a 4-touring...)

Arrives Nov - cant wait!

Anyone else got 335d and think of anything I should be aware of?

Thanks guys for the feedback:

re: petrol vs diesel.
I'll be doing c 20k p.a so I think diesel is the right choice.
I'm also looking to get a m135i, so that will satisfy the PH in me!

re: adaptive damping.
I'll be doing mostly motorway with only light B-road fun, so not really tooooo bothered about this one.
Can I justify the cost vs benefit? Probably not given the driving profile.

re: colour.

JNW1 - I've gone for Oyster too. I think a dark exterior with dark interior would make everything feel a bit cramped (unless I went with pano roof, which I think is too much)
Currently got black leather w white exterior - looks sharp and a nice contrast. So, I've gone the other way for this one - dark exterior w light interior.
I'm a little worried now about Tanzanite...

SBN - you mention it'd didn't look great in the flesh. Well, I've not seen one yet - my local dealers don't have anything with that colour.
I think I'll stick with it. I've got the car on a 2yr lease so not too long to hold out if I don't get on with it.

Ref other options JNW1, I did go for folding/dimming mirrors and also TPMS, reversing camera.

Lastly, I'm also considering the tow bar - 'only' £750 to get fitted and it electronically stows away which I think is nice and won't spoil the look of the car. I do tow my bike etc every now again and have to borrow a mates van to do so at the moment...

Anyone got?

OK, change made - I've now included the adaptive suspension.

Interestingly, the chap who I've been dealing recommended not bothering as his car is 320d touring XD MSport and he says didn't have adaptive suspension and handled just fine. However, upon me discussing, he went away to find that his car does, indeed, have the adaptive.
Apparently, all loaners/demo cars are specced with adaptive. I guess people wouldn't be too happy cutting about in a top of the line demo car that was wallowing about the place. A bit annoyed actually that the XDrive M-Sports DONT actually have M-Sport suspension. Not really on when you're paying a sh*t ton of cash for a new car.

Ref costs, I didn't massively shop around but my budget was c£500 p.m
I got this for £520 per month with £3k down. That's with quite a high 20k miles p.a and on a 2 yr lease too.

Oh, and de-badged of course. I like the idea of people thinking it's just a normal 320d. (the new 320d also has dual pipes)

Flinty, I ordered at Cotswold Cheltenham.
Very helpful and also they'll be moving into a massive new premises soon so they'll have much more choice etc.
I think it's going to be one of the biggest dealers in the UK.
