BMW 325i convertible testing the water

Am a classic ford owner and am looking at buying a classic convertible .. The 300sl Mercs are creeping up and i think are now a bit too much .. However the 325i still seem fair value looking for a late 80.s early 90,s ... Seen a couple up for sale all around the 7k to 10k mark and a few a little bit more .. My question is ... Do you guys think they are still undervalued and anything thoughts on there pricing and future values .. And as I have never had one what should I be looking for any known issues ....

Also anyone know of any good ones for sale ...
