I have a 62 reg E70 X5 and in the past I have stuck the converters on the headlamps for driving in Europe.

I was looking through the user manual today and I saw that you could adjust the Halogens (car does not have Xenons) by moving a lever on the back of each lamp cluster. So... I took the back of the cluster off (what a pain the ar$e that is, by the way...) but no lever as shown in the manual!

Anyone out there with any experience of this? - any advice appreciated!

Thanks

I've had a good feel around in the light (impossible to see in) and I can't find anything that feels remotely like a lever...
