Hi people,i'm having a bit of trouble hard wiring a dash cam into my 2011 BMW as every thing keeps turning off. Permanent live and earth is sorted but has anyone used an ignition generator to overcome the sleep mode as I need this for when the camera is in park mode? Any info would be useful. Cheers

HI, the camera I'm using is a Blackvue with smart power and needs switched and permanent 12V.The cam only works for 20 minutes then stops and when I tried to piggy back off a fuse it threw up error codes and the mil illuminated. Thanks for your answer I will look into it. Cheers.
