BMW Performance short shift kit

Hi Folks,

I have an e90, and I have been ogling the short shift kit from BMW performance. It looks nice, but I was wondering if anyone here has any experience of it? I find the std manual gearchange to be the worst part of the car, and was hoping that this kit might improve it...

anyone care to comment?

from what I was shown, it is a proper kit... not just a gear knob... however, the BMW performance catalogue is a bit unfathomable!

Well I have bought one... it's now adorning the car's front seat as I try to find the time to get it sorted out!

I will post up an opinion on it when fitted and tried just in case there is someone, somewhere who gives a tiny rat's arse

can I add to the list the Bird's Limited slip diff? Anyone got it?
