Had a friend over that is a proper anal serial cleaner. He came especially to detail my MV after its winter tart up. He was here just over 6hrs. He is thinking of doing this as a small business to compliment his day job.

Heres one or two shots:

It was not filthy just a bit grubby from 2yrs use and the usual build up of grime.

He's done a fine job,i guess he is a fully fledged detailingworld.com member who masturbate over £5000 waxes and paint depth?

I love cleaning my bikes but please leave the 'detailed' title for the car boys..doesnt sit easy alongside the word 'motorcycle to me'
Nope James is just a wee bit anal about his bike being this clean, so I asked him to do mine. He is a landscape gardner by day. So not into the pansy stuff.

As to "Cleaned vs Detailed" horses for courses I suppose.

How come your Laverda is filthy then??

@ Fats25 - I don't wear a wig hehe

Nothing wrong with having a bike that looks like new and it doesn't stop you using it.
I am a fair weather rider and freely admit it. The MV has only done 3000 miles in 22 months. However I did 2000 miles on my HP2 Sport in half that time when I had both in the garage.

I have a car and use it for any weekday journeys and any journeys that involve more than one person. The MV & HP2 are single seaters. So this narrows down further when I can get to use it.

I also avidly watch Moto GP & WSB / BSB on TV so this limits some Sundays too.

I bought it for "High days & Holidays" and thats what I use it for.

More power to those people that ride year round but its just not for me.

Enjoy whatever bike you ride and enjoy it whenever and however you can.
