On the fringe of booking the ferry to go to the Ulster GP.

Having only been to the TT road races, can anyone give useful pointers to get the most out of this trip as I'm expecting it to be quite different?

Anyone from here going?

Also would be great if anyone could offer advice on where to stay, I've found B&B's etc but would be useful to get recommended some biker friendly accommodation!

Cheers smile

Not much in the way of accomodation near to the circuit
Lisburn is about 5 miles and Belfast about 10

As has been said the Ballymac hotel is close but wont be cheap (if you can get in)

You want biker friendly, forget hotel's and stick your tent up in the campsite next to
the pits, massive beer tent with live music/chat shows at night, brilliant craic.

As for viewing, loads of top spots, top of deers leap is great,a farmer sets up a bar
in his barn, place is buzzing on race day

Been loads of times, best race in the world imho,if you have time ride the antrim coast road
Looking forward to it, sounds great.

Really trying to avoid camping though after the mare we had at the TT plus it's a pain carrying loads of gear over on the bike.

You going this year?

Thanks smile
