Racing Silly Season - Who is going where in 2014?
Discussion
Anyone got any gossip, rumours or indeed truth about who is going where / doing what for next year?
I don't follow Twitter too frequently but did I hear Josh Brookes going to Milwaukee Yamaha?
Interesting to see who signs up for World Superbike next year apart from Tom Sykes, Johnny Rea and Leon Haslam. The organisers haven't even released a calaendar yet - will Britain host a round?

Eugene Laverty has reportedly signed a two-year deal with Suzuki for World Superbikes in 2014 and then to the Suzuki MotoGP team in 2015.
That is what I call a deal. Well done Eugene. Edited by Troy Bayleaf on Friday 1st November 19:40
The suzook moto gp bike will be ace I reckon
Camier out & suggestion of a ride at Samsung Honda also hinted but not confirmed.
If that's the case then whole behind the scenes team might be doing the same thing with Paul Denning running it again? Suddenly makes the GSXR look good value if you also go testing the MotoGP bike as a taster and end up in the top class in 2015.

I more get the impression from Shakey that Birdy is tied up testing?
Maybe it revolves around Bird's attempts to wring more financial & general support from Aprilia for his MotoGP Team. He's saying he'll basically pull the team if the factory doesn't help as they are now the main team leading the Aprilia move towards full GP factory effort in 2015.Johno said:
My understanding which is only taken from reading various pieces is that Michael wants the kit, but under his own MD Racing banner. This is not such a 'current' structure in racing and probably is less attractive to the manufacturers or sponsors.
Honda's loss could be someone else's gain. Yamaha and Suzuki seem sorted on the roads next year but someone like Kawasaki, Ducati, MV etc could potentially have a TT winner on their hands for peanuts.Loan him a full spec bike, bit of sponsorship money and lure of a £50k bonus and let him work under his own banner if he wants. You as a manufacturer could be on top of the podium for £200k.
Wahey, my thread still going!
From a racing point of view he needs to move on.
From the paddock entertainment point of view and off the bike its another blow to entertainment. The kids have the speed, sponsor friendly faces and quotes but two dimensional personalities.
