I know Michelin bike tyres get a lot of love here, so it might be worth noting the pilot road 4 has just been press released.

They're getting creative with the rears...

Early next year

Any experience how the PR3 compared to Bridgestone's T30?
I comparative tested the PR3 against the Dunlop RoadSmart 2 and the Bridgestone BT023. The Dunlop was the best

Strangely I've just been invited on the April launch of these tyres...

At least I get to see what they're like first hand!

Not that strange, you seem to run a tyre review website according to your profile scratchchin
hehe I mean the launch will be nearly 6 months after public availability!

Just got back from the launch, did a lot of miles on a lot of different bikes.

They're very good.

Same here, although I was fancying the PR3s come next change. My chicken strips are only a couple of mils wide, it's the fact that I'm already grinding both pegs and the brake lever that stops me going any further over biggrin
PR3 = squirmy edges frown That looks like the major change for the PR4s; sounds like you'd be better off sticking to 2s (unless you like to squirm).
I've finally finished my write up: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/Michelin-Pilo...

The squirmy edges have certainly been improved, but it's still a touring tyre.
