Make Your Own Wiper Gloves
Discussion
Its raining and you want to wipe your visor.
A interesting cheap idea to help you clear the rain is to add part of an old windscreen wiper to some gloves.
What you will need:
Gloves
Windscreen wiper(old ones possible from places like Halfords)
ruler
scissors
superglue/Velcro & sewing kit
Step one:
Figure out where the best place to attach a small strip of the windscreen wiper to your gloves. A good place is either along the index finger or along the thumb. Try a mock clean of your visor and see where you feel would be the best place.
Step two:
Depending on your attaching method strip a piece of the windscreen wiper and measure to length and either attach to location via superglue or Velcro allowing future replacements.
Step three:
Check that there is no sharp edges and if not test.
There are better solutions out there but for a quick fix or even a long term solution this will work.
