Even in slick mode it will only permit 5 seconds in the air before brutally cutting power, how can it be disarmed?

Please enlighten me as to how to turn it all off! Slick and traction off is deffo anti wheelie off? I didn't have traction off but seriously don't want a repeat of it kicking in after 5 seconds again,I'm finding quick shifter mid air changes tricky what about you guys?

Err I ride it in slick mode all the time, any of the other modes it's rubbish,I'm very sorry but I'm quite capable of riding it without aids, midrange is at best only the same as my old gixer k5 thou, the power delivery is very linear and if you need all the rain n namby pamby settings I'm sorry but get a 600 or 750,have you actually got one or ridden one properly? Rain Mode borders dangerous, there is zero throttle after about quarter throttle,I'm not sure which bike tester said its un rideable without all the traction settings? It's well known the 10 and 11 models were way Ott systems and have to be turned off especially on track days, even in race it will cut power when not needed,it's more scary for me to have a bike not give me full power when I've asked for it than it than a bike the that knocks power back 25% un expectedly.even at Cadwell running without traction I've only had two slides which were easy to catch and in the same place as my k5 would do it.

Thanks re turning traction off! On this occasion I remember it was turned off, regarding buying a blade il pass thanks, whilst all the latest super bikes are very similar i don't like the look of the blade at all and the rr has won pretty much every super bike teat since launch so I bought a used example to replace the awesome k5

Think I've come to the wrong place, seems I've upset someone for asking how to enable decent wheelies, perhaps small man syndrome? Il stick to riding and tracking my bikes thanks, you stay perched at the bar mate

As stated I bought used,if you care to check out what's for sale you would be hard pushed to find a non sport model, why would I buy the non preferred model and sacrifice my market when I come to sell? I simply asked how to not smash my nuts on the tank after a half decent wheelie thanks.

k5 was a doddle to loft and an fab bike but was getting old so went for a newer benchmark bike, sure the rr is harder to wheelie but I will master it

Sorry for using "loft" instead of wheelie as I'm sure that will in some way make me an idiot in certain people eyes on here.

I'm sure you can,I've only had it into 4th so far, what can is on the rr?the Akro stubby is a bit rude with a de cat and I'm away in Europe with it soon in areas that are a bit keen on noise levels.

Crikey, holy thread revival! Very interesting that there unrideable with it all turned off,LoonR1 may have seen mine going round Cadwell in a vid on another thread,it's quite rideable, even better when on fresh rubber and a fresher pilot! Wheelies are mega once the slick chip is installed and then press and hold the dtc until the amber warning light shows on the dash, then it happily goes through the box on the back wheel!
