Buying a bike with no service history
Discussion
Hi Guys, first post from me!
So I'm looking to get my first big bike, been riding a YBR125 for a while and now passed my full test.
I've found a 55reg CBR600RR for sale from a dealership for a good price. BUT the bike only has the first service at 700miles, it has now done almost 8000.
The dealer said they would do a service before it left the showroom if I bought it.
Would buying a bike with such little history be a bad idea? I'm guessing it will affect my chances of re-selling it and reduce the re-sale price.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

When I was with the dealer earlier I didn't see any old MOT certificates so cannot confirm the milage unfortunately.
The dealers are selling it on behalf of someone and they've said he hasnt used it in the past year, its been sat in his garage, so this could account for some milage.
Love the bike though, it looks amazing!
