Doing the premier 600 course next wed afternoon (20th) if anyone from here is going.

Anyone done it already? thoughts on your experience...worth the money etc?

It will be my first time on track so hoping i will enjoy it n squeeze a couple of track days in after....

i believe they supply everything u need and you dont need a bike licence.

they do state you should be able to ride a motorbike with a clutch/gearbox though and they supply leathers up to a 60" chest...

Well pleased with that! Cheers mate!

Hoping this will be the start of a new hobby. Or at the very least will make me safer on the 'blade!

I like the look of this. Price seems ok, given that if you bin it it won't cost you anything. Anything involving a track seems to have a high bin-rate.
Not sure why but they give me 10% off so its actualyy 265 at the mo....

Had a great time thier too. Would definately recommend it for someone who has never been out on track on two wheels before. My only gripe was the instructors frequently pulling you over to the left to let the blades through just as you were setting yourself up for a corner....very frustrating when you only get a finite amount of laps in the day.

One thing that made me laugh was my mate told me he had done a 1.42 on his GSXR-1000 there, when i told the instructor he said 'Ron does 1.42's two up on the blade' lol

when I went a couple of the instructors mentioned that Rons personal best time was on a CBR600, rather than a blade.
maybe...but 2up its on a blade. The instructors were saying on a thou they do 1.32-1.38's.....i was just impressed the speed some of them were barrelling into the corners and somehow making it out of the other side!

My instructor nearly had a big off just after Hollywood. I was looking back to check on us and somehow managed to get onto the grass at fairly high speed, but held it all together after a few wobbles. He was a really nice guy though, very enthusiastic and helpful.
haha...yh they do spend a fair bit of time going round corner s one handed looking backwards...i'm sure some of them must have been caught out once or twice....

1m42son the full circuit isn't too shabby at all & Doningtons not all about power either. If that was on road tyres, I'd be quite impressed.
Yh...I think it was full circuit in hot tray endurance series so I assume he was on some good rubber. His team came third in the championship so half decent....
