after trying a set I now want a set.

what brands are the best, what to avoid?

there is a set of racetechs going for £60 used, is it advisable to not buy used with these?

I DONT WANT TO BUY CHEAP THIS TIME.

I want to buy something that will be hassle free, no cold spots, last and perform well.

I use Diamond
+1

I had nothing but trouble with Holroyd - went through 2 fronts and two rears in a year (only 7 track days...) - to be fair, they were a duff shipment but it's not a nice feeling sitting in the pits wondering if they're working.

Got a pair of diamonds - they just work and if they ever stop working Diamond offer top-notch service.

I'm done with track days/warmers/thinking I'm going to get spotted and be on the BSB grid in a week so I've got a pair here if you're interested - used at most ten times, a little chain lube on the rear warmer from chain rub when fitting and they come with a nice Holroyd canvas bag wink

Gis a shout if interested - £10 less than going rate + reasonable P&P.
thanks but for the sake of £10 I'll just buy new.

Got it and replied.

Not sure what the pink carnation was all about - I assumed you'd be happy with Royal Mail...
who the fk uses Royal Mail these days, I use hermes or similar, they come to your house, pick it up then ship it all for like a sky diver. With Royal Mail you have to go to the post office, park up, sit in a pissing queue full of pensioners just there for a chat about nothing, after you have lost the will to live you're seen then you have to haul your ass all the way home.

I once sent a alloy wheel and tyre for £7 to England, I have no idea how they make money from it.

Remember to take them off before exiting the garages
I meant more like don't fold them, I assume.

or unplug them before you take them off.

or only plug them in when on the tyre

Chatting away to Dennis Hobbs at knockhill in the pits, (check out me with a name drop) and all of a sudden he runs to the right of me.

Smoke billowing everywhere, some tt had left the warmers plugged in and wrapped them up as tight as he could.

The rear was saved, well it might be, but the front was fked.

Turns out the guy was borrowing them off a mate.
