Indicator not working, any ideas?

Noticed when I was last out on my Yamaha XJ6 that the left indicator wasn't working, to start with I thought it be have been the bulb, but it's both front and back, and strangely works when the hazard lights are on. Right hand one works fine.

When i put it on, it doesn't come up on the screen that it's on, but does when I select the right hand one.

I'm struggling to google the answer at the moment.

Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?
