Helmet noise & ear protection

Do you wear ear plugs/protection of some sort when you ride?

My helmet is a bit noisy, and I'm not sure if I should be looking for something quieter, or using ear plugs.

It's mainly wind noise, not a noisy exhaust.

Are any brands specifically quieter than others?

Wow, I didn't know the Yes's would be so high! I don't know anyone that wears them currently, apart from my brother.

Thanks for the great advice, my hearing isn't perfect (I think 2 years of driving the Exige hard affected my hearing), but I'd like to keep it how it is.

I'm going to start wearing them for sure.

- you shouldn't be able to see them from the front, if inserted correctly they'll be nowhere near the helmet lining.

Just bought a new bike, will be wearing them from now on.
