This should be revealed soon....anyone know what size engine its going to be. If its effectively a supercharged zx10r its going to be a bit of a monster!

Why do people keep saying supercharged when kawasaki themselves have released sounds with waste gate noises?
I assume because it could have both like the tfsi engines....

maybe litre power in a 750 sized bike? Bit like back in the day when the first fireblade gave 900 power in 600 size bike? (obviously the difference is not as big these days)

I'd have thought it'd be more of a tourer type, smallish engine to keep weight and size down, better economy, and a full fat spread of torque - neither peaky nor lacking at the top end.
didnt look like a tourer in the vid tbh!

hmmm

I was hoping this was going to be a large production run bike, therefore making it affordable.

But seeing carbon fibre means it's going to be expensive.

And that vid shows wings! Surely aero on a bike is an odd idea?!
I'm assuming the wings are just for high speed stability.....i'd be suprised if the production version has exposed carbon fibre but yh...i agree it indicates it will come with a 'premium' price tag.

200+ MPH? Or will it still confirm to the agreement thats bikes that cannot go faster than 186mph (or whatever the speed that was agreed upon)? With that much power I'd expect it to hit well over 220mph unrestricted, if it has the gearing.
I'm hoping after 14 years its time to forget, or at least revise the gentlemens agreement. If hypercars are doing circa 260mph we want the bikes to stand half a chance in some of the high speed car v bike races! smile

H2 for the road.. 200bhp

Meh
Apparently, if you hold the indicator to the left position and switch the kill switch off/on 6 times and scream 'kawasaaaaaakkkkkiiiiiii' it releases the 500BHP kill mode
