Have I been riding the ultimate bike?
Discussion
So, I got hit from behind on a roundabout on my GSXR 750 2010 on Friday. It is off to the insurance people but I think it could be borderline whether they fix or write it off. So potentially have to look for a new (to me) bike
I have had it for 3 years with no issues and looking around I cannot think of a better bike to replace it with. I use it for commuting sometimes so the only thing I would change is some ABS brakes which aren't an option on a new GSXR or maybe for novelty a quickshifter. I have been pondering a 1000cc like S1000RR , S1000R or Duke 899 but insurance is a massive step up from the GSXR 750. Even though powerwise the 899 is the same BHP as the 750.
Any one with a GSXR 750 had similar dilemma (1st world problems) when looking for a replacement or upgrade? Opinions on 899 and S1000RR reliability?
