Can my bike tires be the same size?

Hello all,

First time posting so please be gentle. I'm just looking for some enduro tires for my DRZ 400 Im on road tires at 140/70/r17 and a 120/70/r17. Iv been offered 2 x 140/70/r17 (enduro) by a shop and told that will be fine. Has anybody ever come across a bike with the same size tires front and back? as Iv had a couple of dirt bikes and never heard of it. Thanks, Mike

Thank you all for your posts and the lesson in grammar. I'm going to do a bit more research before going ahead with the tyres offered they are actually 2 x 120 not 140. It may mean less traction on the back but as mentioned above I'm more worried about the handling being adversely effected. I'm hoping to use them for green laneing. Thanks again, Mike
