As the title states, myself and my girlfriend are wanting to attend the TT this year.
Having never been before we're in need of as much info as possible. Best places to stay, view points, ferries etc! B&B or Hotel is our best bet as after her if camping was an option, i received a look of utter disgust!
Are we better goin on the bike or as 'foot passengers'?
As much info would be much appreciated......we're wanting it all sorted asap so we can start to really look forward to it!!

Again, thanks for all the info Nurse46!
I was thinking practise week, i just assumed it would be more 'accessible'
What kind of prices are we talking with regards to ferries, b&b's etc?

Hi, I've booked up this year's trip for me and a friend who are both riding over, it'll be our first TT.

I only managed to score practice week, which was disappointing at first, but what the nurse46 has said is quite reassuring!

We're crossing from Heysham at 2:15am on Saturday 30th May, coming back at 8pm on Saturday 6th June. So we should get the full week of practice / quali and see the first Superbike race on the Saturday.

Managed to get a cracking self-contained apartment for the week in the centre of Douglas for £30pnpp.

Need to be absolutely on point next time though and make sure we get race week, it's flipping manic trying to get tickets though.

Kinda nervous about taking my 675R over, but hopefully being the quieter week it should be a bit calmer and all will go well, I'm so excited biggrin
Yeah practice week is what we're lookn at now, found a few places online with regards to accomodation similar to yourself so fingers crossed!! Steam packet website was £360!!!!! Thts the cheapest i could see for the bike plus 2!
