Evening all,
Having tucked the 750 away over the Christmas period I dug her out today to start doing the few bits I have planned for it (Full service, cam chain tensioner, new chain and sprocket) before I start riding again.

I'm in need of a set of tyres, I have had various sets on various bikes in the past. On my last bike the FZR600 I had a pair of brand new Bridgestone BT-023s, good tyres and I had no complaints. Brought my Suzuki last year and it had Pilot power 3s on it and they had just covered 50 or so miles so were barely scrubbed in. Again no complaints and found these to be quite well suited but fancy a change for something with a bit more grip.

A close friend always swaps tyres on any new bike to Pirelli Rosso corsa 3s and loves them, can't speak highly enough and keeps pointing me in that direction but just thought I'd check and see on here if anybody had any recommendations. I only ride during the summer so am not worried abut the rate of wear.

Any help would be great.
Thanks
Rj

Aside from the fact they are on there way out, I just purely fancy a change, everyone I come into contact with on bikes always seems to mention how great there tyres are but I hear this from everybody so wanted to see on here if any of it matched up and one came out on top.

I'm no Rossi on the road but feel a better set of tyres or perhaps a more focused set would do no harm...although correct me if I'm wrong?

Thanks for the replies. As I say don't get me wrong I'm no Moto gp rider but I hear and read rave reviews about the likes of Pirelli & Metzeler and keep thinking about a change as they will be due for one the early part of this year. Rather than put the same back on if there was a better option out there thought I'd give it a go.

An interesting point, had not necessarily looked at it like that before. So perhaps a change of profile then as well as? Or instead of.
