Depreciation will entirely depend on demand and supply. Clearly the R1 m or (whatever the premium model is) will suffer no depreciation as Neaves clearly said they have sold the entire allocation and could have done so x amount of times.
As for the standard model the depreciation will entirely depend upon how many Yamaha bring to the uk. If they hold back supply and some of the visually challenged buyers don't care about the front end, it to could lose next to bugger all.

I've seen it and it looks great to me... but thats not what I buy a bike for. It could have an elephants trunk on the front of it.... I wouldnt care. People who buy sports bikes because of what they look like belong elsewhere...
I have a 2011 R1 and yes it has its faults (weight, steering, size being chief) but that new R1 seems to have got those points licked... I love it. Just need to russle up the cash....
Are you serious? People shouldn't consider looks when buying a bike?I have a 2011 R1 and yes it has its faults (weight, steering, size being chief) but that new R1 seems to have got those points licked... I love it. Just need to russle up the cash....
Bet your wife is a minger as well but you justify it by her great personality. Jesus wept.
