De Cat - Why ?

You hear so many people go on about it just wondered what you actually achieve.

Is it one of those type of tales you hear of people talking about that they gained 25bhp just from fitting a K&N filter. In reality pretty much a waste of time ? Or more to it than that ?

Just a random question really as im mooching about for a new bike, seen a lot of R1 owners go on about it. Seems the heat issue might be one very valid reason. The cat must get a lot hotter and with the pipes under the seat that can't be very enjoyable on a hot day.

I've just priced up some pipes for a R1 jeepers they know how to charge

I don't think I will be getting one as new mate but if I do I will give you a shout.

Not even sure what I'm going to get yet. Need to have a test ride of some bikes see what I like. Hopefully going to look at some this weekend if this fecking abscess in my mouth decides to bugger off before then.
