There's a NW200 App (lots of info and GPS nav to vantage points), search "The North West 200" in the App store.......

Made it back from my wee trip in one piece. Left the house at 04.30 and returned by 11.30 - so I didn't lie to my wife when I said I was "just nipping out for the day!"

Bit of an epic trip, if you asked me today whether I'd do it again the answer would be no, in 6 months though I'll probably forget about my aching bones and tiredness and do it all again.

It is doable in one day, I got lucky with the weather and only caught a couple of showers. The night ride home from Cairnryan to Glasgow was thankfully dry, in the wet it would have been a nightmare.

Ended up at Ballysally roundabout, paid £10.00 to sit in a field, you could watch from other spots free of charge, as it was my 1st trip I thought I would take the easy option though. Next time I would head up to the start/finish line to get more of the atmosphere.

Fantastic day out (even with all the red flags), the sound of the Yamaha R1M was fantastic and the 600 race was superb.
