Where do you go for parts?

I've had a couple of very different experiences recently.

I ordered a new aftermarket wing mirror and it arrived really quickly, was a great fit and was well priced. (M&P)

I ordered a rear brake light switch after my bike failed its MOT and got the wrong part twice in a row from a different well known supplier. I still haven't had the refund and the fact that I've been off the road for three weeks waiting for parts has meant that I've burned £300 in train fare that I wouldn't have had to if I'd been on the bike. In the end I got a genuine Honda part from Lings who were excellent if eye-wateringly expensive.

So who would you recommend so that I don't make this mistake again?

Sadly it was Wemoto that sent me the wrong part followed by a part that while it was supposed to be right had the wrong connector. I guess it's a lesson to go with genuine parts.

It was the first place I looked, they just didn't have a rear brake light switch.
