Sad weekend over here in the Nurburgring. Not twenty metres away from our house yesterday a biker hit a car carrying three kiddies (no news on them yet but the bike and rider jumped the armco and ploughed through some trees,40minutes worth of resuscitation couldn't save him because his injuries were so severe.Heli Med was sent away empty because there was no chance of survival.
Mean while three otherr bikers saddly also died in the area, all at highspeed accidents.
How can this carnage be stopped before the local polizie become heavily involved with thier presence on some of the best roads in Germany?
Do bikers now feel immortal because of thier leathers or is it that some simply cannot think as fast as thier bikes performance.?
Before anyone suggests it, Im no goody goody no it all, simply some one who appreciates the roads as they are and doesn't want the few wrecking it for everyone else.

This is an interesting take on a well-worn thread. Have you thought about getting a bike and joining the fun?
Been there-done that etc.
Car crashes get just as much attention over here, just not so many have happened;)
Half term? Is that for the riders?
Love speed as much as if not more than most, its why I live where I live and do what I do.Its a risk yes, but none taken without calculation.
Didn't realise this to be a "well worn" subject, althoigh judging by the way a lot ride I suppose it would be.
Local plod will be looking into ways of slowing everyone down very soon at this rate.Anyone else for a nice leisurely ride in the park?
