7 bikes in a Jumbo Transit

Am shipping bikes down to south of France for some mates and one more has decided he'd like to come along. These are all retrobaked bikes so no fairings.

I know I can get 6 in there but has anyone managed 7 without damaging them!? I thought there might be room for one sideways across the back...

Cheers guys, sounds like foam pads and an assortment of levers is the way forward!

Some guys are a bit precious about their machines so need to make sure stuff stays put.

A good point! Looks like I'd be limited to 1300kg of payload with which we could probably just sneak through with 7 bikes. A few of them are in the 140-150kg range.

Will need to fetch my abacus...
