Should I?

Sold my Bandit S, was great for what I needed it for. Now after something more exciting.
I have a 97 ZX6R which I'm tarting up and re building - that will be predominantly track use.

I've been toying between a Daytona 675 and a k5 GSXR.
It seems for my budget I can get a nice K5 compared to a few and far between nice 675.

I'm going to look at a few this weekend and see if it ticks the boxes, main one being fun. It will be used in all weather , will take it around Europe too. So any advice on what I should look out for?

The 1000cc isn't an option.

Congrats mate, looks excellent.

I was after another 750 at the the start of the year and there was nothing out there(in Scotland) and ended up buyin a k4 1000 cos it was right place/time at the right price but I'm still wishing I had held out for the 750.

What's the weather doing your way, think you'll get some miles in today?
I actually collect it tomorrow. So it's not sat in my garage yet. As for the weather,I've been less wet in the shower so probably wouldn't get any miles done today anyway.

Bog standard paint scheme I think?

As for plans, turn the key, ride and enjoy.Might change the screen but we'll see how it is tomorrow.

It's got the arrow end can and power commander too which is a nice little addition. Hoping to wear the diablo rosso 2 tyres out reasonably quick as they won'tbe much fun in the cooler months. Thinking about it, I've got some heated grips I'll prob fit too.

Your OP said the 1000 wasn't an option. How come?

Just interested. I think the 750 is a blinder anyway!
Insurance was the main reason. Quite a big price jump from the 750 to 1000. I haven't reached my mid 20s yet so still pay a premium!

This one was from Kent.

Bikes all tucked away now. M25 was a nightmare getting there.

This thing is so much fun to ride, second to third at full chat is like being thrown out a cannon.
6th gear on the motorway makes for effortless overtakes. 70-100 is scarily quick, this being the fastest bike I've owned I'm really looking to getting to grips with it (sensibly).

Shot from petrol station before home.
