Gents, its been suggested in a thread from GG part of the forum that you guys might be able to help. Taken from here:

My car is mapped for 99 Ron fuel (jap import), when I went to to th IOM around 8 years ago (in the same car) they used to have a shell garage selling v power. All was well.

Now I'm off to the IOM again on Friday and have just discovered that shell have left the island and Manx petroleum has taken over.

For those that live on the island or have visited can you advise if there are any options for high octane fuel please.

Starting to panic!

Thank you gents.

Octane booster is a good shout. I'm sure the Ecu should be able to compensate to an extent.

It's a 1997 skyline that was mapped in this country for 99 ron.

Iv bought some Lucas oil octane booster which alleges a 2-3 ron increase, my hope was by adding that to the 97 premium petrol that would do the trick.
