Dropped my helmet this morning

I dropped my AGV Horizon this morning and sent it bouncing across the garage floor

So, since I now need to go shopping again I need some advice on new helmets.

I really liked my AGV over the 2 years i've had it so am tempted to get another, but the lure of Schuberth being 'the quietest' and flip front is very tempting, although I have never had a flip front before. AGV's own flip front is better looking to my eyes and also a bit cheaper than the Schuberth so does anyone have any experience with the AGV Compact?

The helmet doesn't looks too bad to be honest just a small dig in the paint at the back and some scratching to the top of the visor (not in line of site)

I thought once helmets were dropped they were write-offs but maybe they are better made nowadays and can withstand a drop better.

I do love a bit of bike shopping but I am off to Germany on the bike in September so could do without the expense of replacement right now. Maybe i will look at replacing nearer the end of the year.
