Whoever you are, if you read this, go buy a lottery ticket. You and your pillion nearly had a head on collision with my car today on the Northumberland Coast road near Embleton.

You might be stupid enough to overtake a vehicle on a blind corner, guessing that nothing is coming, but I'm pretty sure your pillion wouldn't thank you for scattering her body parts all over the place.

You are a tool, and if you survived the rest of your trip to read this, well done. Sell the bike and take up walking you moron.

Yeah, that was me. Bit of a close shave there, wasn't it? Still, no harm done!
Fair play for owning up, respect for that, but seriously, you nearly became part of my windscreen mate. If I'd been there a half second earlier there would have been a collision, no doubt whatsoever. It's a great road, I know it well, there are plenty of nice stretches to get past the traffic. no need to take those chances, it's just not worth it. Be safe. smile

Thanks for all the posts.

No, it wasn't one of those situations where the road was not what it seemed. I know the road well and the most likely reason for the poor road craft was frustration. The road is a great biking road, plagued with any number of cars doing 35 and then slowing down more for every corner. It is annoying but there are a number of places where it is easy to overtake multiple vehicles and crack on, there is no need to chance it like that. This time of year with the hedgerows most of the corners are blind. Different ballgame in winter.

Thanks for the bio hebegb, I'm not that nice or well behaved really, only to you, lol.
