Chicken strips
Discussion
Is it normal for the front to have less of a chicken strip than the rear?
Just inspecting my tyres after doing a left hander on the way home much better than usual. Surprisingly, there weren't any molten rubber balls falling off the very edge of the tyre However, the 3 little pointy arrows clusters that are round the edges of the tyre are partly worn on the front tyre, and just shy of it on the rear. I don't know why this seems weird to me, but it does. What's the science?

Checked pressures last week, they're matched tyres. The only thing I can think of is that the suspension is quite spongey. Had it done by specialist but only new oil in the front forks and adjustment of the rear to my weight etc. That stopped it feeling like a pogo and made things considerably easier, but I'd still like it stiffer (Bikers Nemesis need not input his thoughts at this point). But for that it would need different parts which I haven't really wanted to do because it's ok to live with and I'm too stingey.
