Fit & forget permanently wired camera

Does anyone have a recommendation for a permanently wired camera for a daily commuter, something that is small & to a degree hide-able, can be wired to work automatically and waterproof. Ideally HD & good low light/ night performance?

OK, been running the wired roadhawk HD+ bullet cams since making the first post .... but ... have just been let down when it matters. Turns out it has been saving every other video file, and the file it missed was the chap being hit by a car who could of done with the evidence. I wonder how long it has been doing this(!)

What other cameras are people using? If I can't find a reliable hard wired I may have to look for a rechargeable one that is removable, problem is that I do just over 2 hours a day.

Thanks for that - Did you guys buy direct from the states, or have you found a UK supplier?
