Yes i know "Ask a 1000 people and they will give me a 1000 different replies. But i'm going to ask anywho

The Ariel Ace is still very much in my mind.
And 1 thing that the guys at the factory said that really made me think and really got me stumped.

I asked what colour can I have the bike. The reply was give us a paint code and you can have it that colour. So pretty much the choice is endless

I've loved orange since I had my Blazing Orange Speed triple. Why I like my repsol Blade. But will it be to much. If no what shade orange . Rambo orange is nice and bright?

I don't like plain colours such as White, Black or silver and like to have a bike you can see.

So really just asking what do you think would be a nice colour on the bike below. Just give's me ideas on what to look at .

So not much to cover just the tank, tail and belly pan and possibly the front and rear hugger

I'm sorry but I don't really understand why you are asking what would others choose for themselves . Surely you know what colours you like and will have a leaning towards what will / would suit your chosen bike best . Make your choice , have it painted , ride it and enjoy it ...
I wouldn't give a toss what anybody else thought about it .
Not having a pop just confused .
Good luck .
No I fully understand and why I posted the lots of different views.

I asked as bikers will give views on what they like on bikes. rather than me looking at paint swabs

I only asked to get ideas for myself not what others like and that I should get X colour.

Just give me a idea on what may look good as in the baby blue on the 1000rr. It's nice and not something I would have looked at

just giving me ideas

I think the centre piece of the bike s the trellis frame so I'd keep the colour simples. The red looks good
Got to agree with this, the red looks great. I think that a light colour would like a bit rubbish and I wouldn't go for anything too lairy either.
Simple colour sounds good. As said I don't want to take away the looks of the engineering that goes into the bike with a colour thats to over bearing

But not red. or black. I don't like it personally

If you cant wait for a test ride, just had a mail from Spyder club who have taken delivery of their Ace.

I hired a bike from them for my euro trip and got good service from them so recommended from me.

They did 1 day hire for most bikes as taster sessions they told me as they manage the Piaggio and Ducati test fleets last year and I was looking to buy an Aprilia at the time.

Might be worth ringing to see when its free
I can wait and seen the Spyfer club bike a few weeks ago as it was being finished.

IMO certain bikes suit different colours. I've got 2 reds and 1 black and chose them all that way; the reds because that's the colour they (mostly) were made but also because it suits the bike in question and the black because I wanted black (I built it from parts so could have chosen any colour).

That said I'm not a fan of yellow, orange, green, fluorescent, race reps or anything too multi-coloured...
Seem's we have completely the opposite thoughts on colour.

I think the black front and rear hugger looks good and maybe black or carbon on the rad side cover. That will look nice with a colour on the tank, tail and belly pan

If I was spending that much on a bike I'd be spending a few more quid on a quality one off airbrush job.
Like Airbrushed Skulls and lions!!! or women topless riding a dragon !!!!!

I think a quality paint job would look better myself

If you're imagination only runs to that, I wholeheartedly agree! Of course, there are billions of other things you can do with an airbrush, I see Ariel even offer it as an option. How about a Repsol Replica?;)
Haha I was hoping you did not thing of what I posted as a good idea.

i get what your saying. Not sure a repsol rep would look good on anything apart from the Blade.

Cheers for the ideas and the BM in that brown does look interesting
