Quite.

I suspect the OP's intended response was outrage at the police having the temerity to not just let some thieving scrotes wander off into the distance unchallenged.
I'm sorry what? Your guessing my motives for posting were I am outraged or trying to spark outrage as I wanted the met to let them get away.rolleyes

If you wouldn't mind telling me how you come to suspect that I was outraged at the police for not allowing them to waltz off. Perhaps my use of "apparently" or was it something else? I suspect you come into threads just to nitpick and argue. Perhaps my low post made you feel superior in some way but I suspect your just argumentative.

who the fk uses a moped to try and outrun the cops. They'd be better off on roller blades or a swegway
My old 2 stroke piggio typhoon could do a 13 second quarter mile. Even a generic 125 scooter can outrun a car all day in heavy traffic if they weren't so difficult to catch also easy to ride quickly then I'm sure they'd be robbing other vehicles for use in robberies.

Well, one alternative is that you posted this to somehow gloat at the deaths.

Anybody normal's take on it would be that it's a sad story, but they were the authors of their own misfortune. Full stop. End of.
Oh and I guess you tripped and just found yourself in here and start commenting anyway. Its not like you contributed to the discussion other than to it seems have a go.

I saw this on BBC London just now and was coming back to update thread.what would constitute a "criminal action" from police drivers? A PC and a Sergeant in separate vehicle's as I understand things.

Not very nice to be a policeman and run risk of job loss or conviction on account of someone else's action.

According to local paper this morning both officers served with gross misconduct notices. Also the other kid has been charged with theft and 'taking and driving away'.
