I seem to have increased in girth with age (how did that happen?) and I was a fatty to begin with. My Hein Gericke fabric jacket will barely zip up and I probably need a replacement for my 15-year-old Arai Quantum F. I hate buying things like this online, and as a fatty I need to find somewhere that has a good selection to try on, especially in larger sizes (XXXL).

Any suggestions within an hour or so of M25 J13 (Staines)?

TIA

Found myself at the Infinity Motorcycles outlet in Camberley this afternoon. The only thing they really had in my size was a Rukka Paijanne Jacket which oozed quality but also had a pretty hefty price tag even after discount:

However I wasn't completely taken by the grey colour and even after they offered to "do something" with the price, I can see it's available from many retailers for much less still.

Might check out P&H and/or J&S tomorrow - thanks for the suggestions chaps!

I remember some time last year getting a little lost on my way to Micheldever Tyres and happening across what looked like some sort of vast motorcycle emporium somewhere between Basingstoke and Micheldever Station - possibly along the A303, yet I find nothing that seems likely on Google Maps. Any ideas of what that might have been?

Thanks all. In the end I went to Motolegends on Sunday and found the Helstons Ace jacket a pretty perfect fit. Most jackets in my size have arms much too long so that they cover most of my hands when my arms are by my sides - not ideal. This one has arms just the right length and also has the benefit of looking a bit like a normal leather jacket - the shoulder, elbow and back armour don't make it look too bulky somehow:

I also got some matching gloves - so now it's just a helmet that I need. I'm happier buying online for that, although I did try on some nice Bell helmets at Motolegends. Really liked a couple of the Roland Sands Design ones, except I've read that they aren't very quiet. Anyone used one? Never seen anything like that optional bulbous visor!

Just bought new boots from HS and have bought a load of lids from them, including all my gf's kit. Very helpful and excellent service.
What is HS? Can't see that one mentioned...
