Further info?

Price range?
Type of riding? commuting, fun, main transport etc
Where is it staying? Garage/Street
Where are you riding? Town/City/Rural
Self maintenance or dealer?

You seem to be drawn to 125cc sports bike styling; any particular reason?

The more info you can give, the better.
Hi thanks for the reply, price range is 1000 will just be for a local run about but mainly for work and back will be kept in my garage self maintenance and I just really like the sports look to them mate

Have you any experience of working on 2 strokes? These are temperamental little fookers and will frustrate you if you are unable to keep on top of the maintenance. They are quick for a 125 and great fun, but you will need deep pockets and a friendly mechanic if you are no good with spanners
Zero experience first bike but I no people who no there way around bikes but rather not have all these problems God I don't no what to go with...

Not mentioned by the others but might have an influence on affordability, if I were you I would get a insurance quote for the sports type bikes over a naked one, anything with a potentially expensive to replace fairing might put the premium up.
Checked and it's affordable thanks for the heads up

Not sure why you're stuck on looks (well, I am, I was 17 once). It's safe to say, though, that no girls will go out with you because you've got a YBR any more than they will because you've got a cheaper and more practical supermoto style bike. You can't offer them anything so they'll shag the kid with the corsa...or more likely the one with access to his mum's Fiesta ST.

You're only going to have it for a year, anyway, so get something cheap and practical and start saving.

(or go the slightly insane route and learn from that...your own mistakes are a much better learning experience after all)
It's not about getting the checks mate lol its just the person I am I like to standeth out from the crowd I like to turn heads as I pass or pull up not just an average Joe lol
