Just wondering who may be going and when. I've got my tickets and should be going with a few mates on the 23rd Wed.

http://www.motorcyclelive.co.uk/
I found the last 2 years to get better and better. Lots to do and see. but as always the bargains are not always great but i've always managed to get a deal on a few items I have bought

I go with a few mates in my car. I don't ride as I often looks at buying stuff while there. not that I always see what I want

£21 in advance plus £10 parking = £31
£25 on the day plus £12 parking = £37

OK so you can split the parking if you're with mates or bike in, but Jesus Christ...and then there's food which is easily another £20 (I've taken a packed lunch in the past).
It's a shame because I used to really like going, but the entry prices easily negate any savings you might make. Am oot.
Agreed. The price nowadays is ridiculous
Is'ant most events like this nowadays

I'm going from bristol on the 23rd. I may have a spare seat if anyone wants to come along.

I for 1 ccan't wait as I like having everything in one place to look at and just spending a day looking at bikes and the birds is good enough for me

well as a few are going on the 23rd hows about meeting up at maybe the Kawasaki H2 stand for 12. No need for a red rose in your lapel. Just spot the tall large tt with either my new H2 grey tee, COWASOCKI tee or PH tee smile

It's a few years since I visited the show but this thread has just brought back a memory which made me giggle.
About 4 or 5 years ago I went with a mate, we'd just parked up and my oppo was on the phone to a client so I was getting some fresh air when a car parked in the row in front of us.
4 lads get out, dressed in shorts and tshirts, bit brave thinks me, it was bloody cold.
They then go to the boot of the car to take out 4 sets of full leathers, boots, gloves and lids and all get changed as if going out on their bikes.
They lock the car up and walk in to the NEC with two bemused people following them thinking maybe they have test rides booked?
No, they went into the main hall, booked their lids in for safekeeping before entering the show arena with everyone else.
Still haven't worked it out to this day.
I've seen a few tts do this in the past. As for being percevied as a biker. your going to a bike show so most are going to be into bikes or a biker

glad to hear it seems another good show. Like others I've found the last few years to be a good show to go to.

I have a list of what I want to look at but often go, buy a few things and get the rest online as it's not always a bargain at shows but apart from that glad I did no go yesterday due to floods in my area.

Roll on tomorrow

Wed yesterday and we all enjoyed it. Found it was a bit smaller than before but still lots to see a do.

Apart from the horrendous traffic getting out of bristol and around birmingham that i've not noticed in the past it was a great day out.

Yeah, it's bloody expensive day out
£25 ticket
£12 parking
£30 fuel there and back
£10 Lunch
£77 Total !
It sounds like I've saved a fortune. I might try and make that £110 saved in total by giving Excel a miss as well

£19.50 pre order ticket and £10 for the parking.

you can get food before or after as I did or as suggested take your own

6 of us in total so fuel was about £30 between us all.

So not always that expensive.

Anyone spot any tts getting out of their cars, open the boot. But on Full leathers and take a lid?
