Dvla issued full bike entitlement by mistake. Legality to us

Hi all my mate passed his car test about a year ago,sent provisional off to dvla and full licence he received as well as his car entitlement it also has bikes included. He's never ridden anything more than a twist and go but is daft enough to buy a big bike without thinking it through.anyway would it really be as simple as him buying and insuring it?

Thats my thoughts too.at first I thought it was lucky then realised I'd be scared to use it.I'd sooner learn to ride first property but he thinks he's got the cheat codes to the game and is very smug over his luck.

It indeed a full bike license. He passed entitlement b1 and received category A as well. No mistakes or misinterpreted categories.
