Two blokes attempt to steal a bike in broad daylight in a busy area of Central london. Not by loading it onto a back of the lorry or something else discrete, nope this is noisy angle grinder time.

Is this the new normal now?

I can accept not chasing if it endangers the public, but who cares if someone running from the police injures themselves. Public opinion is on their side, so why do the police make a rod for their own backs. 600% increase in moped crime in 2 years clearly shows they have screwed up.
