Kawasaki H2 insurance quote - What can you get
Discussion
Just out of intrest from the Ariel ACE quest for Tonk
What can you get on a new H2.
when I was looking last March the best I could get was 1k for a 39Yo Garaged. Tracker. 10 years riding and 10 years NCB. living in a City (Bristol ) postcode. and garaged and 3k a year
I only found at the time 2 companys that could insure me at the time and 1 was Bennetts who I am with. I can't remember who the other was

It's nuts really - I've been considering a 'special' bike recently, but it's a real put off that on top of the £20k+ asking price, they potentially want 8 times as much money than to insure a new Fireblade It makes no sense as I doubt the risk and payout rate are anywhere near even twice as much, on bikes like Panigale R, R1M, HP4 and H2.
Apologies for the rant! I have nothing more to add other than to say that your bike is lush.
My blade was around £500 to insure when new and last year cost me (At 5 years old) £198. Apologies for the rant! I have nothing more to add other than to say that your bike is lush.

So, the insurance companies, by using their algorithms, suggest that if you buy this bike you will either crash it or it will be nicked.
Talking to know the the pacifist at Bennetts about it when they could not get a Broker to cover the H2 it was just down to the new type of bike and not being able to get any history of accidents or crashes on these bikes as the type are so new.
