Public car park, commuting, bike parked all day. Helmet left in top box, or taken with you?

Thanks all, I have a decent new Givi top box which is permanently not he bike so I may use that, saves lugging it to the office and finding somewhere to keep it.

My top tip however is, don't leave it in the top box in the morning when it's been raining. Damp helmets are not (always) fun
