It is well understood that most bikes either have straightforward names (Tuono, Duke, Deauville), embarrassing and desperate sounding names (Thundercat, Fireblade, Ninja, Eliminator) or meaningless acronyms (SFV650, R1200GSA, Z1000SX). For the latter group can it can beneficial to bestow upon them more distinct personalities by thinking of an individual with the same initials which reflects the values and nature of the machine. Of course some of the names are actually acronyms, but they are still most often blandly descriptive and do not convey the underlying character.

Consider the Suzuki Sid Vicious 650, the Yamaha Frank Zappa 6, or the slightly incongruous Honda Charlie Boorman 500X. Visualise the bike, and then visualise the person on the bike. It speaks to you.

Some more graphical examples below. I hope it is a helpful technique.

Nice shopping but the premise is tenuous, at best. An SV650 akin to Sid Vicious?
The premise is bloody moronic.
