Budget £150

Based on you owning a pair what would you recommend?

Looked at the Dainese D1 PRED which look good, a little over the budget. They also do a Bonneville which is a little cheaper.

Other options locking at my local bike shop, M&S, are the Route One Huntsman and the RST Aramid Vintage II which are £130 and £99

I've got a pair of Bullitt SR8's and they've been very good, they have a full kevlar protective lining from the waist down to mid shin (worth checking this when you're looking at any jeans imo) another positive is that they look like regular jeans when I'm off the bike. Should come in well under your budget.
Had a look for SR8 jeans but they are £250.

I was thinking about last night and wondered about some Kevlar leggings so could then wear any trouser I want?

Edit: Did a quick search and this was the first result - http://www.urbanrider.co.uk/bowtex-unisex-kevlar-l...

I bought a pair of Draggin Jeans camo trousers ten years ago, but I ordered them too big so they are awkward to wear. They seem robust, never 'tested' them though. They offer no wind or weather protection so you need something else over them in crap weather.

I just bought a pair of proper waterproof, windproof, bike trousers, which seem more practical, with amour inside, though maybe not as 'trendy' looking.
Yes I have a proper pair of biker trousers for longer rides and inclement weather
