Evening.

Looking for some guidance on a L0 GSXR750 swing arm removal please.

I loosened the nut on the rear dogleg strut but the bolt doesn't want to come out.
When I turn the left hand side the bolt just spins.
I have given it a tap with a rubber mallet but didnt want to go nuts till I knew it was the right thing to do and didnt want to damage the bearings in the dog leg.
Also access is tricky as the exhaust pipework is kind of in the way....

Side views for reference..

Any advice welcome please.

Progress.. had to undo the top shock nut and drop it all out as one in the end...

It looks like the bolt has seized to the bushing which is annoying...

Anyone have any words of wisdom before I start swinging a hammer at?

I have tried penetrating oil and a blow torch to heat it.. next step is probably to heat it for even longer..

Got it.. and mullered a needle bearing in the process.

Bolt was bone dry and corroded.

The epic saga of the incompetent mechanic vs GSXR 750 swing arm continues...
