A friend of mine's beautiful 636 was stolen in the Dartford area today at approximately 7pm. Guy had the bike less than a few months and had only just spent a fair chunk of cash on several upgrades for it, really is a mint bike which he loved and is gutted it's gone missing.

FJ03 JKK

If anyone in or around the Dartford area hears of anything at all that might be related to the theft of this bike, please let me know either via PM or email and I'll pass on the information. frown

UPDATE: Bike has been found, picture and details a few posts down. Thanks for all your help, big thumbs up to all the people who kept their eyes peeled, shame this couldn't have had a happier ending frown

Pictures of the bike have been posted up on a multitude of car and bike forums, I'll definitely update as soon as I hear anything but there's no news yet. Unfortunately looks like the bike has vanished off the radar, probably only to resurface as untraceable parts or a track bike somewhere frown

UPDATE: Bike has been found, unfortunately not in good nick frown

Quote from Graham the bike's owner.

Graham said:
Well...what a fking night...

Luke suggested we spend a bit of the evening looking for it, so I decided there was no harm in it even though I was convinced it was gone. Spent about 2 hours looking and then as I was starting to get cold and give up.......we found it

She's in a VERY bad way and it's gutting to see her like it (I'll get pictures in daylight tomorrow)...

Damage is quite extensive on the right hand side, and the frame has a couple of dents, also the steering lock has damaged the frame, so I'm still going to have to claim unfortunately

Oh and the end can is missing couldn't find it anywhere so fk knows where that went.

If anyone who knows the area is interested, it was found in a field near University way...

Thanks for the support...

I'm sure I'm not the only one that is mighty pissed off by this, it's good he's got the bike back but the dented frame and other damage means it's certainly a write off, and if he were to claim on the insurance he's got a high excess and will lose his only years bike NCB. Little bds should be hung drawn and quartered in my opinion furious

Think the only security was the steering lock at the time, was pinched as it was parked outside a mate's house for a brief visit, I think it's normally chained up to the hilt in a secure garage. So either an opportunist thief or someone following him waiting for an opportunity perhaps frown
