Are talking about scrapping bikes, where the rider has been caught doing very excessive speed, or has been riding dangerously.

Can they legally scrap a brand new bike, costing maybe £20,000, for a traffic offence?

For me, the first person to have their bike crushed for speeding needs to take the case right to the very top.
With the backing of every single one of us.
If it's really going to happen, it's little short of ethnic cleansing, bike-style!

That is my concern.
They've done their best to test and price people off bikes, after all.

True, if for no other reason than it's a lot heavier and also a lot wider, so will take more victims, on average, in one 'hit'!
