A picture a day....biker banter
Discussion
lets try something we do on a couple of other forums and always works well, pretty much EVERYONE has got a cameraphone so everyone can get involved IF they like
it is easy, just take a picture of something from your day and post it up
the picture doesnt have to be bike related just something YOU have taken yourself
lets see some pictures from YOUR day

Taken in one of the wider, lower, Norwegian fjords a couple of days ago.
We are towing this barge from Verdal, Norway, to Rio de Janeiro. At 6 knots. Which will take about 40 days.
The only thing which will change over that time is the amount of blue stuff in the frame - if the barge disappears there's something very, very wrong.
Only bikes around are the two mountain bikes in storage.

May I add my second entry for today! (it's been a busy day!)
Here's my wrist being de-casted! Doesn't look safe to me
And after!!
You may have noticed my crude sound/smell effects.
My other arm isn't working out too well, the surgeon doesn't like the look of the X-Rays at all, the broken bone fragments have compacted and aren't growing leaving my joint very weak. He's is giving it 6 weeks to heal but if there's no improvement he wants to fuse the joint leaving me pretty much disabled for life. I've decided I'll fuse my foot in his arse before I allow that to happen. Second option, which he seems to think it's the worst of the two is a full joint replacement. This would give me good useage/movement but they wear out, so I'll need a new one now and again. They last 20 years or so in eldery people, but for a 32 year old Downhill Mountain Biker / Motorbiker it might only last 10. To be honest I'm feeling a major surgery once every 15 year average as the lessor of two evils!!
Anyway, I have a private surgeon expecting my call, Swiss fella, works in Bahrain where my folks live, if he can opperate I might try to book it in to watch the Bahrain GP afterwards.
Oh yes, I thought I'd make the most of having a working Elbow (sorta) whilst I still could so took the CBR out for a spin up to Downs Cafe afterwards, a bit wobbly and some of the other bikers mush have though I was having some kinda MJ issues because I could only get one glove on but hey ho, whilst I still can and all that.
No, no, noooooooooooooooooooooo.....what the hell happened there? Love the fused foot in his arse coment!!Here's my wrist being de-casted! Doesn't look safe to me

If so, do you know anywhere locally where me nephew could have a go on his little offroader, keeps moaning he never gets to go on it.

+1 to Dibble. Personally I think I'd be rather gleeful in taking away said vehicle.
A picture from my weekend's travels (that resulted finally in an hour long stop between junctions 15 and 14 of the M1 southbound due to an unexpected oil light...)
everyone loves toys'r'us.

After the GF's first ever pillion ride i think she has decided she likes bikes and fancies a go I even let her ride it back into the garage when we got home (engine running/in gear/using clutch the whole damn 9 Had visions of the bike and GF disappearing through the back of garage into a pile of rubble, girl did well though )
