Looking a the pics, it seems like a nice car, not sure why it has fibreglass side sills, original ones were metal? I can tell you from the pics that the tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 1s, They stopped making those years ago and then went to Michelin Pilot Sport 2s, these are now being fazed out and another Michelin super Sport tyre is being made in various sizes Not sure its available in 17 inch yet?

The tyres are a Summer tyre only, If you intend to push the car at the odd track day I would budget for new rubber. Tyres are the most expensive part of Viper ownership (if you use the car).

Just looked on the michelin website (uk) and it seems tyres are not currently available in 17"

The size of the fronts should be 275/40 ZR 17
and the Rears should be 335/35 ZR 17

Tire Rack in the USA has the tires listed here http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.js...

The tyres may have a lot of tread on them but its about Heat cycles, Not tread depth. These cars have a hell of a lot of torque, on a damp road early morning its easy to get into trouble with old tyres wink

Just something to be thoughtful with if you are thinking of buying wink That being said I am currently running old Pilot Sport 1s on my car but its about knowing their limitations wink
